Fantasy Basketball Category Streamers for Week 14: De'Andre Hunter, Jae Crowder, Patrick Beverley, Coby White

Week 14 fantasy basketball streamers based on H2H 9-category leagues for the 2021-2022 NBA season. Keith Cork recommends guards, forwards, and centers to target through waivers or free agency in fantasy leagues who may help in specific categories.

Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day! There are going to be some early games so make sure you execute some moves early today so you can get the very best of the best into your lineup. Check the wire early and check it often.

Continuing last week's trend, let's see how our top picks last week fared: Onyeka Okongwu (FG%, 13th-round total value), Terrence Ross (FT%, unranked womp womp), Hamidou Diallo (PTS, ninth-round value), Cedi Osman (3PTM, unranked womp womp), Maxi Kleber (REBS, unranked womp womp), Patrick Beverley (ASTS, sixth-round value), De'Anthony Melton (STLS, unranked womp womp), Hassan Whiteside (BLKS, first-round value). That's only two hits, so either the waiver wire was rough or we had some unfortunate luck. Either way, I'm confident we'll bounce back this week!

23 teams have four games this week. Four teams have three games. There are just three teams that have two games this week: the Sacramento Kings, New Orleans Pelicans, and Houston Rockets. We'll be avoiding players on those teams for this week.

Week 14 Standard 9-Category Leagues

Columns are written based on H2H nine-category standard size leagues:

FIELD GOAL PERCENTAGE

Nicolas Claxton - C - Brooklyn Nets (38% rostered)

Nicolas Claxton was likely dropped in your league when he went down with an injury. That's assuming he was ever owned to begin with, of course. The Nets are suddenly going to be without Kevin Durant, who is set to miss several weeks with a knee injury. The Nets will have to rely on everyone on their roster to fill that scoring void, and Claxton is shooting nearly 66% from the field this season. He scores enough to make that field goal percentage impactful, and he could return on Monday. If he doesn't, there's a great chance he plays the other three games for the Nets this week.

Other streamers:

FREE THROW PERCENTAGE

Danilo Gallinari - SF/PF - Atlanta Hawks (13% rostered)

Danilo Gallinari is a fringe fantasy player at best, but with the Hawks trading away Cam Reddish, it seems that his role in the lineup is solidified. He doesn't do much of anything outside of scoring and shooting threes, but his free throw percentage is truly elite at a pristine 93.1% on 2.2 attempts per game. If you take him as a points, threes, and free throw percentage specialist, he can help your squad.

Other streamers:

POINTS

Coby White - PG/SG - Chicago Bulls (50% rostered)

If your league is one of half the leagues that has Coby White still sitting out there on the waiver wire, go grab him now and don't think twice. He could come crashing down to Earth any day, but with Zach LaVine set to miss at least the next game and Lonzo Ball dealing with his own injuries, Coby White is locked into big minutes and a nice offensive role for the time being. He's been shooting it lights out for weeks now, which doesn't look to be changing anytime soon as he's averaging 17 points per game over the last two weeks.

Other streamers:

  • Jeff Green - SF/PF/C - Denver Nuggets (23% rostered)
  • Gary Harris - SG/SF - Orlando Magic (32% rostered)
  • De'Andre Hunter - SF/PF - Atlanta Hawks (50% rostered)
  • Nassir Little - SF - Portland Trail Blazers (17% rostered)
  • Kevin Huerter - SG/SF - Atlanta Hawks  (34% rostered)

THREE-POINTERS

Coby White - PG/SG - Chicago Bulls (50% rostered)

All of the above, and he shoots threes like crazy to boot. He's averaging 2.7 triples over the last two weeks, and that should climb this week with so many bodies missing in Chicago.

Other streamers:

  • Max Strus - SG/SF - Miami Heat (22% rostered)
  • Justin Holiday - SG/SF - Indiana Pacers (26% rostered)
  • Coby White - PG/SG - Chicago Bulls (48% rostered)
  • Malik Beasley - PG/SG - Minnesota Timberwolves (34% rostered)
  • Nassir Little - SF - Portland Trail Blazers (17% rostered)

REBOUNDS

Kevon Looney - PF/C - Golden State Warriors (19% rostered)

Yeah, grabbing Kevon Looney isn't sexy. He is, however, a great category streaming option if you're looking for rebounds. He's snagged 12 in two straight games and 18 against Cleveland on January 9th. His increased boards probably have a bit to do with Draymond Green being out, which will continue, and also a bit to do with the Warriors missing a whole lot of shots recently. Either way, he's guaranteed to grab you a nice number of boards.

Other streamers:

  • Jalen Smith - PF - Phoenix Suns (7% rostered)
  • Brandon Clarke - SF/PF - Memphis Grizzlies (40% rostered)
  • Jae Crowder - SF/PF - Phoenix Suns (30% rostered)
  • Hamidou Diallo - SG/SF - Detroit Pistons (48% rostered)
  • Royce O'Neale - SG/SF/PF - Utah Jazz (44% rostered)

ASSISTS

Patrick Beverley - PG/SG - Minnesota Timberwolves (41% rostered)

Patrick Beverley tops this category for a second straight week, and he's dishing out 6.4 assists per game for the Minnesota Timberwolves. He's also getting 25-30 minutes. Steals, threes, and assists are all up for grabs here, so get on it and scoop him up if he's available.

Other streamers:

STEALS

Jae Crowder - SF/PF - Phoenix Suns (30% rostered)

Jae Crowder will likely be the hottest pickup this week. Cameron Johnson has gone down with an ankle injury and the Suns have responded by giving Jae Crowder more minutes and letting Jalen Smith take whatever is leftover. Crowder is a fantastic source of threes, rebounds, and steals as long as he's getting 30+ minutes. Cam should be back at some point this week, in which case Crowder will lose some of his streaming appeal.

Other streamers:

  • Otto Porter Jr. - SF/PF - Golden State Warriors (31% rostered)
  • Chuma Okeke - PF - Orlando Magic (26% rostered)
  • Patrick Beverley - PG/SG - Minnesota Timberwolves (41% rostered)
  • Cody Martin - SG/SF - Charlotte Hornets (15% rostered)
  • Killian Hayes- PG/SG - Detroit Pistons (10% rostered)

BLOCKS

De'Andre Hunter - SF/PF - Atlanta Hawks (50% rostered)

His ownership has jumped drastically, and for good reason. He's hit the 30-minute mark twice since the Cam Reddish trade, and if nothing else, he's a great specialist for defensive stats. He's averaging 1.7 blocks per game over the last two weeks, which is nothing to sneeze at for a guy who plays the wing position. He's also been hitting enough threes and scoring enough to warrant a roster spot just to see if it sticks.

Other streamers:

  • Brandon Clarke - SF/PF - Memphis Grizzlies (35% rostered)
  • Onyeka Okongwu - PF/C - Atlanta Hawks (12% rostered)
  • Isaiah Hartenstein- PF/C - Los Angeles Clippers (7% rostered)
  • Nicolas Claxton - C - Brooklyn Nets (38% rostered)
  • Darius Bazley - SF/PF - Oklahoma City Thunder (19% rostered)
