FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (1/13/19): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

I hope everyone is having a great weekend. The association has seven games scheduled on Sunday, but on FanDuel, the main contests begin at 7 pm/EST, which is what we will be focusing on. Keep an eye on the injury situation as Dennis Smith Jr., Maurice Harkless, Gary Harris, and Larry Nance Jr. are the big names who have either been ruled out already or are in danger of not being able to suit up. Regarding pace, unsurprisingly, Golden State at Dallas leads the slate with an anticipated pace of 103.27 possessions in addition to leading the way in the scoring department with an expected total of 228.5 points according to Vegas.

In this DFS article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 1/13/19. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Stephen Curry - PG, @ DAL ($10,200)

In terms of players at either guard position, James Harden will have high ownership on Sunday. However, if you are looking to save a few bucks, check out Curry and the rest of the "Hampton's Five." After battling a groin injury for a significant portion of the Fall, Curry appears to be back in the swing of things, averaging nearly 29 points per contest so far in January. He didn't play his best when the Warriors hosted the Mavericks right before Christmas, but everyone is entitled to an off night. Look for him to bounce back this time around by draining a few more shots from deep.

Klay Thompson - SG, @ DAL ($8,100)

Thompson is averaging 40 fantasy points per contest over the last seven games, so if you are telling me it will only cost me $8,100 to acquire his services, I am going to take it. Stacking up as many Warriors on Sunday is my preferred method of attack and Thompson is too much of a bargain to pass up, especially considering that he is having one of the hottest stretches of his career at the moment.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Kevin Durant - SF, @ DAL ($10,000)

If we have Steph and Klay, then we have to throw in KD, who has, is and always will be putting up adequate fantasy numbers. Durant will be going up against a Mavericks team that isn't horrible defensively but isn't great either, allowing around 40 fantasy points per outing to opposing small forwards this season. With this game anticipated to move fast and be played at a speedy pace, Durant will put up some solid fantasy numbers on Sunday night.

Maximilian Kleber - PF, vs. LAL ($4,000)

Kleber is very reasonably priced considering his output as of late, averaging 13 points, six boards, and two blocks over the last two contests. It appears as if he will continue to start at the four, at least while Dennis Smith Jr. is out, so make sure you keep an eye on Smith's status prior to opening tip.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Ante Zizic - C, @ LAL ($3,900)

After recently being cleared to return after dealing with a knee issue and with the injury to Larry Nance Jr., the door has opened for Zizic to get some time on the floor. The 22-year-old has logged at least 20 minutes in each of his last two games as well as dropping 18 points and pulling down eight boards against the Rockets on Friday night. If you don't want to spend cash on the big names, give Zizic a shot as a punt play who also has a decent ceiling.
