FanDuel MLB DFS Lineup Picks (9/11/18): Daily Fantasy Baseball Advice

Justin Bales highlights the top FanDuel MLB DFS lineup picks for 9/11/18, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

FanDuel generally struggles to correctly price their players when coming off of the DL. That is the case again tonight, as Chris Sale will be on an innings restriction, but may be able to hit value for his current price. We'll discuss that more below.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel on 9/11/18. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

You can also read more DFS lineup picks for DraftKings and other sports too. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact me up on Twitter @BalesSJustin.

FanDuel DFS Pitcher

Michael Foltynewicz - P, at SF ($10,200)

Foltynewicz has looked outstanding this season, putting together a 10-9 record with a 2.75 ERA through 27 starts. He has been a slightly better option on the road this season, and he gets a great matchup against the San Francisco Giants in one of the most pitcher friendly stadiums on the slate. Foltynewicz is also a -137 favorite in a game set at 7.5 runs.

FanDuel DFS Infielders

Ji-Man Choi - C/1B, vs CLE ($3,200)

Choi continues to play at a high level, hitting .333 with a .667 slugging percentage and a 1.114 OPS over his last 10 games. He's also hitting over .300 with tremendous power at home, which is a bit surprising. He gets a matchup against Shane Bieber, who is arguably the worst starting pitcher for Cleveland. Choi has been playing well enough to safely be used in all leagues.

Robinson Cano - 2B, vs SD ($3,500)

Cano has found success over his last 10 games, posting a .324 average with a .541 slugging percentage and a .945 OPS over that span. He gets a great matchup against Bryan Mitchell, and Cano owns 0.062 wOBA and 0.097 ISO differentials against right-handed pitching. He's hitting third in the Mariners lineup, and he should be considered in all leagues.

Matt Carpenter - 3B, vs PIT ($4,000)

Carpenter has finally cooled off a bit, but he's still an extremely consistent option, scoring fantasy points in each of his last 10 games. He features 44% hard-hit and 48% fly ball rates with a 96 mph exit velocity over the last 15 days. He has found success against right-handed pitching, and gets a solid matchup against Joe Musgrove tonight. Carpenter can be used in all leagues.

Trevor Story - SS, vs ARI ($4,100)

Story is a player that can always be considered in Colorado. He's hitting .304 with a .658 slugging percentage and a 1.020 OPS through 70 games in Coors. He has also been playing at a high level over his last 10 games, recording a .325 average with a .775 slugging percentage and a 1.147 OPS over that span. He gets a tough matchup against Zack Greinke, but Story can still be considered in all leagues.

FanDuel DFS Outfielders

Charlie Blackmon - OF, vs ARI ($4,200)

Blackmon has been an elite hitter in Coors this season. Through 65 home games, he owns a .330 average with a .549 slugging percentage and a .938 OPS. Blackmon is also hitting .333 with five extra-base hits (three home runs), five RBIs, and four steals over his last 10 games. He gets a tough matchup, but he's an elite option tonight.

Jay Bruce - OF, vs MIA ($2,500)

Bruce has been playing well recently, hitting .257 with a .486 slugging percentage and an .852 OPS over his last 10 games. He owns 50% hard-hit and 46% fly ball rates with a 96 mph exit velocity over the last 15 days. Bruce gets a great matchup against Jose Urena, and he can be considered in all leagues.
