FanDuel DFS Pitchers

Shane Bieber, CLE vs KAN ($11,400)

If you're looking to invest in an ace today, Bieber is your guy. He's got a dominant 30.7% K-rate with just a 5.1% walk-rate, along with a 3.37 Deserved Run Average. Bieber is facing one of the weakest lineups against righties in the Royals, who have just a .300 wOBA against right-handed pitching, which the fourth-lowest mark in the league. The Biebs is an extremely safe pick in cash games as well as a high upside play in GPP tournaments, so you can use him in any contest where you are willing to spend more at starting pitcher.

Reynaldo Lopez, CWS vs TEX ($7,400)

An inconsistent season has lead to poor overall numbers for Lopez, but he's looked like a strong option lately. Lopez has five quality starts in his last eight outings, and has just a 3.10 ERA in the second half with a 3.56 FIP. He's got lots of strikeout upside against a Rangers lineup that has the fourth-highest K-rate in the majors at 25.6% against righties.

FanDuel DFS Infielders

Josh VanMeter – 1B, CIN at PIT ($2,700)

VanMeter is in a valuable spot batting leadoff for the Reds, where he will pick up an extra plate appearance and have a good shot at scoring some runs. Opposing starter Dario Agrazal has an awful 6.49 FIP this year, so the Reds lineup should have a big performance against him. VanMeter is a cheap cash game option at first.

Jose Altuve – 2B, HOU vs LAA ($4,000)

Second base is extremely weak today outside of the high-end plays, so either paying for the top option in Altuve or punting the position entirely are your best ideas. Altuve has been incredible over the last month, batting .343 with a 1.062 OPS. He is well worth the price tag against Jaime Barria, owner of a 6.35 ERA.

Tim Anderson – SS, CWS vs TEX ($3,200)

Anderson enters today's contest hot, batting .359 over the last two weeks. He's in a great spot to accumulate counting stats batting second for the White Sox and is facing a pitcher making just his second big league start in Brock Burke. With 13 homers and 16 steals, Anderson provides a power/speed combo that can score you points in multiple ways.

Matt Chapman – 3B, OAK vs SFG ($3,500)

The Athletics are a lineup to consider stacking against another inexperienced starter in Logan Webb, who can easily implode in his second career start. Chapman is an awesome power play at this price, with 29 homers and a .526 slugging percentage. His teammates Marcus Semien and Matt Olson are also easily affordable.

FanDuel DFS Outfielders

Austin Meadows, TAM at BAL ($3,700)

Meadows already has two homers in this series, and he gets one last crack at the league's worst pitching staff today. Baltimore is also an extremely hitter-friendly park, and O's starter Dylan Bundy has a 1.77 HR/9 and a 5.03 ERA. Meadows has a fantastic 144 wRC+ against right-handed pitching this year.

Yasiel Puig, CLE vs KAN ($3,300)

Puig is in a position to drive in runs batting fourth for the Indians against Eric Skoglund, who has a 6.14 ERA ... in triple-A! Cleveland is another outstanding stack option, and Puig is a high upside play thanks to his 24 homers and 16 steals.

Jarrod Dyson, ARI at MIL ($2,700)

Dyson is just too cheap for a leadoff hitter of his ilk. Anytime you get a leadoff hitter on a team who’s projected for more than five runs, you use him, especially below $3,000. Dyson is in the midst of a career year too, as he’s on his way to setting career-bests in runs scored and extra-base hits while flirting with them in steals, BA, SLG and OPS. This is certainly not a matchup we’re scared of either, with Dyson getting the platoon advantage against Chase Anderson’s 4.54 ERA and 1.28 WHIP.
