FanDuel MLB DFS Lineup Picks (4/15/19): Daily Fantasy Baseball Advice

Troy Klauder highlights the top FanDuel MLB DFS lineup picks for 4/15/19, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

Tonight's main slate on FanDuel starts at 7:05 pm eastern and covers nine games.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel on 4/15/2019. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

You can also read more DFS lineup picks for DraftKings and other sports too. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @TroyKlauder.

FanDuel DFS Pitchers

Joey Lucchesi, SD vs. COL ($8,200)

Lucchesi got lit up in his last start, but he still has a tremendous 1.83 FIP on the year with a 27.4% K-rate. He should have no trouble bouncing back against the Rockies, who have an abysmal .256 wOBA against lefties and a 27.3% strikeout-rate. He also gets to face them at home in pitcher-friendly Petco Park.

Yu Darvish, CHC at MIA ($7,100)

I doubt anybody has very much interest in starting Darvish, as he's been absolutely horrible this season. That's why I like him as a contrarian play, as you can almost definitely get him at a low ownership rate. Darvish has a ton of strikeout upside against a Marlins lineup that has the highest K-rate in all of baseball against righties at 31.3%. If he can get himself back together for this start, he will be an incredibly valuable play in GPP contests at this price.

FanDuel DFS Infielders

Jose Abreu, CWS vs. KC ($3,100)

Abreu is off to an awful start, but I wouldn't be too concerned over a 14 game sample. Expect good numbers from him as the White Sox three-hitter against Heath Fillmyer. Fillmyer is one of the worst starters on the slate after getting blown up for five earned runs in his last outing. Abreu is an oustanding value at his price.

Mike Moustakas, MIL vs. STL ($3,900)

Cardinals starting pitcher Dakota Hudson has just a .279 ERA this year, but has some major red flags in his profile - his 14.3% walk-rate and 2.79 HR/9 suggest that the Brewers should have a big day against him. Moustakas has lots of power potential in hitter-friendly Miller Park, and he is one of my favorite plays in a potent Brewers stack.

Jose Ramirez, CLE at SEA ($3,100)

Many Ramirez owners are understandably panicking, but this is a guy coming off a 39 homer, 34 steal season. I will take him every single day at this price, regardless of how he has done so far in 2019. Buy in while you still can, because Ramirez probably won't be this cheap for the rest of the year.

Adalberto Mondesi, KC at CWS ($4,300)

Mondesi has lived up to the hype, as he's got a 130 wRC+ and five steals. His extreme upside makes him one of fantasy's most exciting players and a strong pick in GPP contests. Mondesi gets to face Ervin Santana, who just got crushed for seven earned runs.

FanDuel DFS Outfielders

Bryce Harper, PHI vs. NYM ($4,200)

Normally you want to avoid bad matchups, but Harper's matchup against Noah Syndergaard actually provides a buying opportunity. That's because you can actually afford him for once! Harper is an elite hitter in an extreme batter's park - essentially, he is matchup-proof. And Syndergaard has actually has a 4.74 ERA this year, so maybe we shouldn't be worried at all.

Randal Grichuk, TOR at MIN ($2,600)

Grichuk is an awesome power flier against Martin Perez, who had a 1.69 HR/9 last season. I'd only want him in GPP contests, as Grichuk is a boom-or-bust type of player.
