FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Lineup Picks (8/10/16): MLB DFS Advice

Welcome to hump day everyone. We have a full slate today with tons of juicy matchups. There's tons of value pitching on the board, making the pricey bats realistic targets. In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball MLB lineup picks for FanDuel on 8/10/16. First pitch is at 12:10 ET, so keep that in mind for all-day contests.

As for Vegas insights, the heavy moneyline favorites tonight are the Dodgers (-200), Cubs (-200) and Blue Jays (-190). The highest scoring totals are Rockies-Rangers (10.5) and Yankees-Red Sox (9.5).

Editor's Note: RotoBaller offers the best Premium MLB Subscription - only $14.99 for the rest of season (plus playoffs), or less than 25 cents a day. All the tools you need to help win your seasonal and daily leagues: daily DFS Cheat Sheets, Lineup Picks, Expert Lineups, Stacks and Avoids. Plus advanced tools for Hitter & Pitcher Streamers, Matchup Ratings, and Under-the-Radar Surgers for AVG, HR, Ks.

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target for FanDuel

Cubs versus Ricky Nolasco

Pretty Ricky has been pretty awful in 2016 (5.23 ERA), including a rough debut with the Angels (6 IP, 5 ER, 3 HR allowed). Things don't get any easier tonight versus the Cubs, who have a .755 OPS versus RHP (9th) and are huge favorites tonight. All Cubs hitters are in play tonight, with Anthony Rizzo having the best matchup of the bunch. Rizzo has a 1.028 OPS versus RHP.

Orioles RH versus Ross Detwiler

Detwiler is making his first start of 2016 in what is also his Athletics debut, and I could think of a lot better scenarios than this. The Orioles righties crush LHP, led by Adam Jones and Mark Trumbo. In addition, J.J. Hardy, Steve Pearce, and Jonathan Schoop are all in play. I don't expect Detwiler to last long, resulting in the Orioles attacking the A's 19th ranked bullpen.

Also Consider: Rockies versus Martin Perez

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider for FanDuel

J.A. Happ (SP, TOR) - $9,200

Happ has been on fire, posting outings of 42, 62, and 48 in his past three contests. He's now 15-3 with a 3.08 ERA, including a 1.82 ERA since the All-Star Break. The Rays are formidable offense versus LHP, but heavy favorite Jays make Happ an appealing option.

Ervin Santana (SP, MIN) - $7,600

Santana has a 2.41 ERA since the All-Star Break including a 25/5 K/BB ratio. The Astros are getting hot, but their an average lineup versus RHP and when factoring in Dallas Keuchel, should make Santana a low-owned play.

Ryan Vogelsong (SP, PIT) - $6,900

Vogelsong has resurrected himself and if there's anywhere to make the transformation, it's Pittsburgh. He was efficient in his debut (6 IP, ER, 6 K) and gets a Padres lineup ranked 29th in OPS (.682) versus RHP. He's a great play in all formats.

DFS Infielders to Consider for FanDuel

Catcher (C)

Wilson Ramos (C, WAS) - $3,000

Ramos, the top ranked catcher in fantasy, hasn't slowed down in the second half (.364/.398/.610) and just had his first game with less than double-digit points in past six contests. He's way too cheap on this slate.

First Base (1B)

Mike Napoli (1B, CLE) - $3,500

Monday was the first game since July 29th that Napoli didn't score at least 15 points in a contest. He has a .903 OPS versus LHP, including a HR from Gio Gonzalez in nine career at-bats.

Second Base (2B)

Logan Forsythe (2B, TB) - $3,400

Forsythe has started to heat back up in August (.395/.477/.658) and has a .884 OPS versus LHP. He's one of the few Rays I trust versus Happ.

Shortstop (SS)

J.J. Hardy (SS, BAL) - $2,800

Hardy is batting .500 in eight career at-bats versus Detwiler and has posted a .801 OPS since the All-Star Break. He's among the RH stack for the Orioles.

Third Base (3B)

Kris Bryant (3B, CHC) - $4,400

He's the highest priced third baseman on the board, which will hopefully help drop ownership levels, but that won't sway my decision. Bryant has homered in consecutive contests and gets a juicy matchup with Nolasco.

DFS Outfielders to Consider for FanDuel

Miguel Sano (OF, MIN) - $3,600

Sano has now has four home runs in his past five games and has posted a .960 OPS versus LHP. Dallas Keuchel isn't a walk in the park, but that should scare players off riding the hot hand.

Charlie Blackmon (OF, COL) - $3,600

Don't be scared off by the L/L matchup with Perez. Blackmon has hit .313 versus LHP and has posted a 1.039 OPS in August. He's among my favorite plays today.

Nick Markakis (OF, ATL) - $3,000

Markakis is from a sexy name, but he's been consistent and that's all we care about when it comes to floors. He's averaged 17 points in his past four games and has a 1.066 OPS in the month of August.

Also Consider: Gregory Polanco (OF, PIT) - $3,800 and Andrew Benintendi (OF, BOS) - $2,500
