EPL DFS Lineup Picks for DraftKings (5/4/24) - English Premier League Soccer Matchweek 36

Brandon's DraftKings EPL DFS lineup picks for English Premier League Soccer on 5/4/24 (Matchweek 36). His top daily fantasy soccer forwards, midfielders, defenders, goalkeepers.

Welcome back to “The Kick-Off” and welcome to the 23-24 season! Playing the second half of the congested schedule this week and we should see some more rotation. As always, it is imperative to consider early substitutions in these matches.

The top favorite for this week is Nottingham Forest -155 at Sheffield United +370. I will guide you through this three-match slate starting at 10:00 A.M. EST.

If you have any questions on today's slate, bankroll management, GPP strategy, Cash game strategy, or anything else, don’t hesitate to email me at [email protected], via X @df_solutions, or in our Discord chat rooms.

EPL DFS Goalies

Mark Flekken - DK $5.1K || FD $11

Opponent - Fulham FC

In terms of raw value from Shots Per Goal Per 90, Fulham offers the best on the slate, sitting in the bottom ten in both Shots For Per 90 and Goals For Per 90. Everyone else is producing more goals than shots. This sets up expected starter Mark Flekken to be the top target at the goalie position. He is not the most expensive option and still provides a high chance of a win.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Sels (DK $5.5K || FD $12), Dubravka (DK $5.1K || FD $13)

EPL DFS Forwards

Morgan Gibbs-White - DK $8.5K || FD $20

Opponent - Sheffield United

With Anthony Gordon of Newcastle United seeing a reduced role on set pieces again, Morgan Gibbs-White of Nottingham Forest becomes the top forward on the slate. Throughout the attacker’s last five domestic fixtures, he has two goals, one assist, nine created chances, 17 crosses, seven corners, three tackles, and four interceptions. Playing in an advanced role and his club in desperate need of points to stay in the top flight next season, expect Gibbs-White to get close to a ceiling game...especially considering his opponent. Sheffield United this season is a bottom-three club defensively and they are the worst at In-the-Box Goals Against Per 90.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Gordon (DK $9.5K || FD $21), Mbeumo (DK $8.9K || FD $18)

EPL DFS Midfielders

Andreas Pereira - DK $7.9K || FD $16

Opponent - Brentford FC

Despite the lack of wins, Andreas Pereira continues to carry the bulk of the offensive production for Fulham FC. The midfielder has two goals, one assist, 10 shots, 14 created chances, 35 crosses, 19 corners, three tackles, and one interception in his last five matches. Playing at Gtech Community Stadium is never an easy task. However, if Pereira can maintain his peripherals, he should surely be able to reach expectations. As the second most affordable set piece taker on the slate, he will be a popular play, especially in ‘CASH’ contests.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Murphy (DK $7.4K || FD $16), Hamer (DK $6.4K || FD $16)

EPL DFS Defenders

Tino Livramento - DK $5.5K || FD $11

Opponent - Burnley FC

After having a productive match last week despite his questionable status, Tino Livramento has gotten a massive salary hike. In his last five domestic outings – three starts – he has one goal, two shots, four created chances, ten crosses, six tackles, six interceptions, and seven clearances. Burnley is the fourth-worst at In-the-Box Shots Against Per 90 and they are the fifth-worst at both Created Chances Against Per 90 and In-the-Box Goals Against Per 90. As long as Livramento continues attacking the flank, he is expected to easily maintain value.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP): Tavares (DK $4.1K || FD $8), Bassey (DK $2.9K || FD $10)

Corner Takers

  • Brentford FC: Mbeumo/Jensen
  • Fulham FC: Pereira
  • Burnley FC: Brun Larsen
  • Newcastle United: Murphy/Gordon
  • Sheffield United: Hamer
  • Nottingham Forest: Gibbs-White

Thanks for reading The Kick-Off. Good luck in all of your contests today!
