Welcome back to “The Kick-Off” and welcome to the 23-24 season! Playing the second half of the congested schedule this week and we should see some more rotation. As always, it is imperative to consider early substitutions in these matches.

The top favorite for this week is Newcastle United -490 vs Sheffield United +1100. I will guide you through this four-match slate starting at 10:00 A.M. EST.

EPL DFS Goalies

Dean Henderson - DK $4.2K || FD $10

Opponent - Fulham FC

This is by far one of the ugliest slates for goalies in quite a bit with zero ‘trust-worthy’ matchups. Therefore, the goal is to find the most reasonable salary that has a solid chance of winning their respective matchup. This leads to Dean Henderson of Crystal Palace. Throughout the keeper’s last five domestic starts, he has made 16 saves, conceded seven goals and recorded two clean sheets. Fulham has been widely inconsistent at home over their last five domestic fixtures and if they continue their poor form, Henderson could become the top-valued goalie on the slate.

EPL DFS Forwards

Anthony Gordon - DK $9.5K || FD $21

Opponent - Sheffield United

After a subpar performance by Anthony Gordon at midweek, he makes a return with an even better matchup at home, against Sheffield United. Once again, Sheffield is a bottom-two defense in the top-flight and in their last five domestic away fixtures. The visitors have been outscored 12 to five. In Gordon’s most recent five domestic appearances, he has one goal, three assists, 15 shots, 13 created chances, 29 crosses, 21 corners, nine tackles and two interceptions. If he does not produce double-digit fantasy points, it will be a major bust.

EPL DFS Midfielders

Bruno Fernandes - DK $10.7K || FD $25

Opponent - Burnley FC

Another familiar face from the midweek article is Red Devils midfielder, Bruno Fernandes. The dynamic attacker produced a brace, one assist, five shots, nine created chances, 16 crosses, eight corners and two tackles in the 4-2 win over Sheffield. He and the rest of Manchester United get another juicy matchup at home against Burnley FC. Burnley continues to compete with Sheffield for the worst overall defense in the top flight this season. In Per 90 stats, the visitors are the sixth-worst in both Goals Against and Big Chances Created Against, as well as, the fifth-worst in Shots Against, Created Chances Against and In-the-Box Goals Against. Whether you are playing on DraftKings or FanDuel, Fernandes is a must. Especially, on FanDuel where they score Created Chances better. Bruno is the fourth-best in Shot-Creating Actions Per 90 this season, as well as, second in Passes into Penalty Area and first in Key Passes.

EPL DFS Defenders

Tino Livramento - DK $3.9K || FD $9

Opponent - Sheffield United

Livramento’s status remains in the air, however, bench boss, Eddie Howe, has hinted that the former may potentially suit up. The fullback has generated one goal, two shots, two created chances, five crosses, three tackles, four interceptions and six clearances over his last five domestic matches – three starts –. If Livramento does manage to start, he will be one of the highest-owned players on the slate, due to a lack of high-floor/high-ceiling options at defense.
