DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (10/11/22): Today's Top MLB DFS Lineups

kyle tucker fantasy baseball rankings MLB news draft sleepers DFS lineup picks

The top daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel and DraftKings on October 11th, 2022 for the Divisional Series. Mark Kieffer's MLB DFS analysis and sleepers for building optimal DFS rosters.

It is Tuesday, October 10th and it's the first day of the Division Series in the MLB playoffs! It's playoff time in Major League Baseball and we can play some DFS to add to the excitement of the postseason!

This article has daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel and DraftKings on 10/11/2022, Main Slate at 1:07 pm Eastern Time. The lineup will range from some elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. The main slate is four games on DraftKings and FanDuel.

You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports. It's also essential to monitor injury news and today's MLB starting lineups. If you have any questions or comments, find me on Twitter @Mark_Kieffer and ask away!

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Gerrit Cole- P, NYY vs. CLE ($9,700 DK, $10,900 FD)

Gerrit Cole has the best xFIP (2.78), SIERA (2.77), and strikeout rate (32.4%) on the slate and is the second most expensive pitcher on the slate. The Yankees are -212 favorites to win and Cleveland is implied for just 2.83 runs. Cole is the best pitcher on the slate and anytime I can get the best pitcher and he isn't the most expensive pitcher, I am interested.

Julio Urias- P, LAD vs. SD ($8,700 DK, $10,100 FD)

On DraftKings, I like Urias here. He and Logan Gilbert have similar numbers, but Urias is favored at home while Gilbert is an underdog in Houston. Urias has a 3.81 xFIP and a 24.1% strikeout rate on the year. If looking for more of a GPP play, Gilbert has a 3.78 xFIP and a 22.7% strikeout rate and costs $6.8K on DraftKings and $9.2K on FanDuel.

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Alec Bohm 3B, PHI vs. Max Fried ($3,600 DK, $2,700 FD)

Alec Bohm has a .398 wOBA and a .189 ISO against LHP this season. He is an affordable alternative to Jose Ramirez, Austin Riley, etc., on this slate. Of course you can always pay up for one of those superstars if you can afford it.

Max Muncy- 2B, LAD vs. Mike Clevinger ($2,800 FD ONLY)

Max Muncy is under $3K on FanDuel and second base eligible. To me, he is the best value for hitters on this slate. Clevinger has a 4.76 xFIP and allows 1.57 HR/9. Muncy did not have a great year, his OBP was .329 and his ISO was .188. This is a different season now. He is facing the worst starting pitcher on the slate and we know what he is capable of.

Jean Segura- 2B, PHI vs. Max Fried ($3,200 DK, $2,600 FD)

Jean Segura has a .367 wOBA and .197 ISO against LHP this season. Yes, Max Fried is good but getting those types of stats at this price is a great bargain.

Jeremy Pena- SS, HOU vs. Logan Gilbert ($3,700 DK, $3,300 FD)

Jeremy Pena's stats are not great. He has a .289 OBP with a .173 ISO. He should be batting near the top of the order and the Astros are implied for 3.95 runs. Dansby Swanson and Trea Turner as the best spend-up options at shortstop on this slate.

Matt Olson- 1B, ATL vs. Ranger Suarez ($4,700 DK, $3,700 FD)

People will probably want to spend up for Freddie Freeman or Anthony Rizzo, but Olson projects very close to Freeman. Some will want to stay away from Lefty/Lefty, but Olson has a .330 wOBA against lefties still. Freeman is the best spend-up, Olson is a nice pivot, and Josh Bell is solid if looking for some savings at first base today.

DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Harrison Bader OF, NYY vs. Cal Quantrill ($2,800 DK, $2,700 FD)

If Bader is in the lineup, I am interested. Anytime I can get a piece of a high projected lineup, against a weak pitcher, for incredibly cheap, I am interested.

Kyle Tucker- OF, HOU vs. Logan Gilbert ($4,400 DK, $4,000 FD)

Kyle Tucker is a home run and stolen base threat, which bodes well for our lineups. He has a solid floor and a much upside in a given day as some of the more expensive options.

Robbie Grossman- OF, ATL vs. Ranger Suarez ($2,600 DK, $2,000 FD)

Grossman is likely to bat towards the bottom of the order but he has a .390 wOBA against lefties and this Braves offense should have some success today, creating extra at-bats for Grossman compared to a normal game.

DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks

Here are a few stacks I am liking. With such a small slate you can make an argument for pretty much any team.

  • Los Angeles Dodgers- Mike Clevinger has a 4.76 xFIP and allows 1.57 HR/9. The Yankees and Braves are in this same tier as well.
  • Philadelphia Phillies - This is my sneaky stack (if there is such a thing on a four-game slate). Fried has pitched well to them this season, but the Phillies do have the sixth-best wRC+ against LHP this season
  • San Diego Padres - The Dodgers have had a long layoff and Urias isn't an ace with a 3.81 xFIP and a 24.1% strikeout rate. This is the other contrarian stack I like.
