DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice - NBA DFS Lineup Picks for 12/12/15

Who would have ever guessed I would be recommending Ersan Ilyasova in a real article? It was only a little bit ago that we were all chanting Ersanity at the TV, and let's hope we can get back there tonight!

In this article, I will be providing you with Daily NBA picks for DraftKings for 12/12/15. The picks will range from some of the elite players, to mid-priced options, and value plays.

Without wasting anymore time, let's get down to it!

We offer weekly, monthly or seasonal Premium NBASubscriptions.

DraftKings DFS Point Guards

John Wall (at DAL, $9,300)

Wall continues to be a tremendous play night in and night out. He has now scored 55+ fantasy points in five of his last seven games. He has triple double potential, and he can score in four of the five categories at an elite level. He gets a great matchup against an aging Mavs teams tonight, and he could be even better than usual if Bradley Beal is out for an extended amount of time. Wall can be used in all leagues right now.

D’Angelo Russell (at HOU, $4,800)

Russell started last night because of the injury to Jordan Clarkson, and he responded with 24 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 steals. If Clarkson is out again tonight, Russell will start again and have tremendous upside once again. It looks like he’s finally adapting to the NBA the way most people expected him to, and he can contribute in multiple categories. If Clarkson is out tonight, Russell can be used in all leagues. If Clarkson is starting, Russell is best suited for GPPs.

DraftKings DFS Shooting Guards

James Harden (vs LAL, $10,800)

Harden’s price is getting a bit too high, but his upside and consistency are undeniable. He’s coming off a dominant 70 fantasy point performance, and now he gets a great matchup against a weak Lakers defense. Harden can contribute in all five categories, and he has been shooting over 20 times per game all season. The Rockets have struggled at times this year, so I wouldn’t play a blowout here, and Harden can be used in all leagues.

Wesley Matthews (vs WAS, $5,300)

If you’ve been avoiding Matthews recently waiting for him to cool off, it’s time to stop. He’s a streaky player, and he has heated up. In his last three games, he’s averaging 39.4 fantasy points per game. He’s finally looking for his shot in the offense, and he’s hitting them. He has also been contributing in other categories, which he was failing to do earlier, and he gets a great matchup against the Wizards tonight. Matthews’ price is going to continue to go up, so he can be used while he’s cheap tonight.

DraftKings DFS Small Forwards

Paul George (at DET, $10,200)

PG13 looked awful last night, and he still managed to finish with nearly 40 fantasy points. While that certainly isn’t value at his price, it’s a decent floor when he has a 70 fantasy point ceiling. He didn’t shoot all that well, and he also didn’t add many peripheral stats aside from rebounds. The matchup tonight isn’t ideal, but George is essentially matchup proof, and I would be surprised if we saw two bad games in a row for PG13.

Andre Iguodala (at MIL, $5,200)

As expected, Iguodala played heavy minutes last night with Klay Thompson out. It wouldn’t be surprising if Thompson is out again tonight, as the Warriors will likely take caution with one of their young stars. That means Iguodala will likely play huge minutes again, and he can fill up the stat sheet when he gets minutes. The Bucks have been the worst team in the NBA against small forwards this season, and Iguodala can be used in all leagues if Thompson is out. If Thompson starts, Iguodala can still be used in GPPs.

DraftKings DFS Power Forwards

Draymond Green (at MIL, $8,200)

Continuing with the idea of Thompson sitting out tonight, Green will become a must play. Last night, he played 50 minutes and dominated with 24 points, 11 rebounds, 8 assists, 5 steals, and 5 blocks. Those numbers are absolutely insane, and Green had an off shooting night. It’s scary to imagine what Green could do, and he may play a bit more small forward tonight. As I mentioned earlier, the Bucks have struggled against small forwards, and Green should be used in all leagues.

Ersan Ilyasova (vs IND, $4,800)

Ilyasova is a tough play to stomach if you have used him at all over the last two seasons, but if you remember way back, he was a tremendous fantasy option. He has now rattled off three consecutive impressive games, and he gets another great matchup against the Pacers tonight. Indiana loves plays fast, and they have really struggled against the power forward this season. Even with his recent success and guaranteed minutes, Ilyasova is a tournament only option tonight.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Pau Gasol (vs NO, $7,700)

I’ve had a tough time pegging how many minutes Gasol will get each night, but he has played 33 minutes in each of his last two contests, and hopefully that is the case again tonight. He’s coming off a bad game, in which he scored 40.5 fantasy points, which exceeded value. Before that, he had double doubled in five consecutive games, while playing limited minutes at times. He gets a great matchup against a weak Pelicans frontcourt, and both teams will likely look to push the pace a bit tonight. Gasol can be used in all leagues.
