DraftKings Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (10/6/18): MLB DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on October 6th 2018. Troy Klauder's MLB DFS analysis and sleepers for building optimal DFS rosters.

The National League teams have Saturday, leaving the the American League teams to complete Game 2 in their series. There's just one slate on DraftKings, starting at 4:37 eastern and featuring two awesome matchups in Indians-Astros and Yankees-Red Sox.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on 10/6/18 The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for sites like FanDuel, and other sports too. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @TroyKlauder.

DraftKings DFS Starting Pitchers

Gerrit Cole - P, vs CLE ($9,600)

A number two starter as a result of the overpowered Astros rotation, Cole is coming off of a monster season with a 2.55 Deserved Run Average and a 2.70 FIP. Cole's 34.5% K-rate gives him a ton of upside against an Indians lineup that Justin Verlander was able to no-hit for much of yesterday's game.

Carlos Carrasco - P, at HOU ($7,900)

Rolling with the two highest-priced pitchers went well on Friday, and I'm thinking it will go the same way today. Carrasco had a mighty season of his own, posting a 2.94 FIP with a 29.5% K-rate. It's no surprise that Vegas has the over-under for this game two runs lower than the Yankees-Red Sox, as both pitchers are expected to perform well.

DraftKings DFS Infielders

Mitch Moreland - 1B, vs NYY ($3,700)

I like Moreland a lot because he's basically a punt play at this price. While he wasn't overly-impressive this year, Moreland should still be batting fifth or sixth in the Red Sox order, a place where he can drive in some runs. He's facing Masahiro Tanaka, who's not a bad pitcher, but his 4.01 FIP makes him the weakest pitcher on today's slate.

Jose Altuve - 2B, vs CLE ($4,100)

Altuve is another outstanding value bat, as he's way too cheap for a guy with a 141 wRC+ against righties in 2018. He's in a fantastic spot for production batting second for the Astros.

Francisco Lindor - SS, at HOU ($4,900)

Lindor is one of the only bats I'm comfortable taking against Gerrit Cole. His 38 homers and 25 steals rank him as too elite of a hitter to completely ignore, especially since he'll be batting leadoff. On a day with only two games, every plate appearance matters more.

DraftKings DFS Outfielders

Giancarlo Stanton - OF, vs BOS ($5,000)

Stanton might have the best game of any batter on Saturday in an extremely hitter-friendly park in Boston. He demolished lefties to the tune of a 174 wRC+ this season and is particularly attractive in GPPs for his power upside.

Andrew McCutchen - OF, vs BOS ($4,700)

McCutchen is another leadoff hitter to take advantage of on a short slate. David Price is susceptible to giving up some runs with his 4.02 FIP, and Cutch will likely be involved with Judge and Stanton behind him.
