Darlington NASCAR Practice Speeds, Lap Averages, and Notes

Ty Gibbs - NASCAR DFS Picks, Betting Picks, Daily Fantasy NASCAR

NASCAR Practice Speeds, Notes, and Lap Averages. Use these NASCAR stats and info to build lineups on DraftKings for the the 2024 Goodyear 400 at Darlington Raceway.

The NASCAR Cup Series ran a single practice session at Darlington Raceway on Saturday morning in preparation for the upcoming Goodyear 400 on Sunday afternoon.

The 36-car field was split into two groups for this practice session. Below you'll find the two practice groups, key notes from the practice session and the practice speeds for all drivers.

Track conditions were faster in Group A compared to Group B, so keep that in mind when analyzing the practice speeds this weekend.

Important Practice Notes

Tyler Reddick - Tyler Reddick bounced off of the wall in the middle of his practice run. It was shown on the broadcast and looked to be a pretty hard hit, but after replay it was noted that Reddick didn't even lift, so the wall tap really wasn't that big of a deal. Don't expect that to affect the No. 45 Toyota much this weekend, if at all.

Erik Jones - After taking the last two weeks off due to his back injury, Erik Jones is returning this weekend at Darlington. He's a two-time winner at this race track and has the fifth-best average finish of all active drivers at this race track, so it's a great place for him to return.
