CBB DFS: NCAA Tournament DraftKings Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks - Today's Top Lineups (3/24/24)

Zach Edey - CBB DFS Picks, NCAA Daily College Fantasy Basketball

Today's NCAA Tournament DraftKings CBB DFS lineup picks for 3/24/24. Mike's top daily fantasy college basketball sleepers to build winning NCAA DFS lineups on DraftKings.

The Sunday slate is about the same as the Saturday slate as far as tip times go. That's very unusual as far as the NCAA Tournament goes. It is usually heavy in the afternoon with all of the games done by early evening. I'm not complaining. We still have all eight games on the same slate. Colorado and Marquette get going early with Utah State and Purdue having the stage to themselves in the middle of the afternoon.

The evening tips with Duke and the Dukes. Clemson and Baylor follow about an hour later. Same with Grand Canyon and Alabama after that. Northwestern and UConn get going shortly after. The Aggies face Houston with Yale and San Diego State wrapping up the night an hour later.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks on DraftKings on 3/24/24, starting at 12:10 p.m. EDT. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Tyon Grant-Foster, Grand Canyon ($8.4K)

Grant-Foster hasn't been under 38 DraftKings points since February 24 and has cleared 30 in all but one game since February 1. The Lopes weren't supposed to make it out of the first round. Now they face an Alabama team that they match up well with. Both teams are going to get out there and run. It's what they do. It also means elevated DFS totals across the board... especially for Grant-Foster as the orchestrator of the Grand Canyon offense.

Darius Brown II, Utah State ($7.4K)

Brown hasn't been scoring at will as he did in the Mountain West as the season wound down, but he did play the entire game against TCU and posted a double-double. Brown has at least 35 DraftKings points in four of the last five games. We can work with that. Purdue is a better defensive team on the perimeter this year, but that's not saying a lot. This is still a good matchup for the Aggies, and they'll need Brown to have a strong game if they want to spring this upset.

Ray Harrison, Grand Canyon ($5.9K)

The Antelopes are cheaper than the Tide at most positions, therefore they offer better value. Mark Sears has the highest ceiling, but the price on Grant-Foster and Harrison is very reasonable considering the recent production and potential in this game. Harrison has scored in double figures in five straight games and has cleared 25 DraftKings points in four of them. The odds are great that he makes that five of six in this up-tempo game.

Reese Waters, San Diego State ($4K)

Waters plays good minutes off the bench and is a solid contributor in points and rebounds. He doesn't offer any real ceiling on a San Diego State team that won't push if the other team doesn't. It will be another game like that against Yale. We're playing Waters for a few bench points and solid play on the boards. That has resulted in double figures in DraftKings points in four of the last five games and eight of the last 10.

Also consider: KJ Simpson, Colorado ($9K); Mark Sears, Alabama ($8.8K); Boo Buie, Northwestern ($8.3K); Wade Taylor IV, Texas A&M ($7.8K); Tyrece Radford, Texas A&M ($7.5K); John Poulakidas, Yale ($6.9K); Ja'Kobe Walter, Baylor ($6.1K);  Ian Martinez, Utah State ($5.8K); Mason Falslev, Utah State ($5.3K); Mylik Wilson, Houston ($5.1K); Josh Uduje, Utah State ($3.8K)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Zach Edey, Purdue ($11K)

Edey is back at his ceiling price after one of the more dominant performances in recent tournament memory. He put up 30 points and 21 rebounds in 31 minutes against an overmatched Grambling team. Edey outrebounded the entire Grambling team in the win and posted the first 30-20 double-double since Maryland's Joe Smith in 1995. Utah State isn't overmatched in most areas, but they are a little undersized up front. The avenue is there for another monster game from Edey.

Donovan Clingan, Connecticut ($7.7K)

Northwestern is still without starting center Matthew Nicholson, which is a big problem when facing someone like Clingan. Clingan has 19 blocks and 66 rebounds over the last seven games alone. This is a great spot for him today against a Northwestern team that is very lacking in size in the frontcourt to deal with Clingan.

Gabe McGlothan, Grand Canyon ($5.7K)

McGlothan posted a double-double against the Gaels in the opening round along with three blocks and three steals. His athleticism will play better against Alabama than the interior presence of Lok Wur. I don't necessarily expect Grand Canyon to win this game, but they should hang around and the point total in the game could approach 200. It's a gold mine of DFS goodness.

Cody Williams, Colorado ($4.9K)

The Ralphies didn't push the future lottery pick in the Pac-12 Tournament, but they turned him loose for the first time since injuring his ankle on February 24 against Florida. The 26 minutes for Williams was the most since his return. Colorado is going to need him against Marquette, and the price is low enough to take a chance on in GPPs. Williams was routinely in the high 20s to low 30s in DraftKings points before the injury.

Also consider: Jaedon LeDee, San Diego State ($8.9K); Jalen Bridges, Baylor ($7.4K); Tristan Da Silva, Colorado ($7.1K); Solomon Washington, Texas A&M ($6.6K); David Joplin, Marquette ($6.5K); Mark Mitchell, Duke ($6.1K); Ja'Vier Francis, Houston ($5.8K); Julien Wooden, James Madison ($4.7K); Isaac Johnson, Utah State ($4.5K); Jarin Stevenson, Alabama ($3.7K)
