We have a nice six-game slate for our Sunday. We have mostly major conference teams in action today and into tonight. It's all-day basketball here at RotoBaller, but one slate covers it all today.
We begin in East Lansing with Rutgers in town. Georgetown heads to Storrs to take on UConn. Memphis heads to Wichita State for an interesting mid-major tilt. Next up is Maryland in Champaign to take on Illinois. The evening begins out west with Utah trying to take down Stanford. And we end in Los Angeles with Washington taking on UCLA.
In this article, I will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 1/14/24, starting at noon Eastern. Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks
Marcus Domask, Illinois ($8,100)
The price on Domask is getting high enough to move some people off. I'm not there yet. Domask still contributes a good amount of DraftKings points even when his shot isn't falling. He has at least five assists in every game without Terrence Shannon Jr. The points are just a bonus for Domask. His real value is in rebounds and assists.
Stephon Castle, Connecticut ($6,900)
The freshman phenom had to play his way into the starting lineup and he has at the expense of Solomon Ball. Castle has played at least 29 minutes in three straight games, topping 32 DraftKings points in each one. He is firmly established as a replacement for the struggling Ball. The sky is the limit on Castle. He contributes in every category, giving him a safe floor.
Michael Jones, Stanford ($5,400)
Jones is a dangerous spot-up shooter that can put up points in a hurry. He doesn't take a lot of shots, but he takes good ones. Jones is shooting 61.5% on the season and 47% from three-point range. He is 12-for-17 in his last two games while making eight threes in 10 tries. Stanford is playing Jones more minutes, so the shot volume should continue to rise...especially if he keeps shooting like this.
Jamichael Davis, Rutgers ($4,300)
Davis has scored in double figures off the bench in each of the last two games. He has also piled up 11 rebounds, three assists, three steals, and a block. That's strong production for someone priced this low. His minutes are pretty steady and Davis will keep getting opportunities if he keeps succeeding when he gets them.

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks
David Jones, Memphis ($8,300)
Jones is an elite-lever scorer (21 points per game) on a Memphis team that can score a lot of points. Jones has been picking it up on the glass lately as well. He has at least eight rebounds in four of the last five games. Add in the little spike in assists, and we have the recipe for the safest play on the slate. Jones' elite scoring gives him a high floor, which is what I'm after in a high-priced player. We'll chase the higher ceiling with value plays.
Coleman Hawkins, Illinois ($7,500)
Hawkins is a tough matchup because he's 6'10" and can hit shots from outside with regularity. He's strong on the boards, a good rim protector for his size, and a better passing than you think. He also piles up the steals. Hawkins isn't a great scorer inside the arc, but if he keeps shooting 40% from beyond, he doesn't need to be. He's more new-age NBA center than a college center, but that could make him a rich man next year.
Mawot Mag, Rutgers ($6,800)
We all knew what Mag is capable of. We saw it before he was injured last year. He is finally returning to form. Mag has played at least 32 minutes in three straight games and has scored in double figures in all of them. He also has 20 rebounds, five assists, five steals, and a pair of blocks. The problem with Mag has been consistency. Can he keep this hot streak going? If he's going to score between 35 and 45 DraftKings points again, he can change a slate at this price.
Dalen Ridgnal, Wichita State ($5,800)
If Ridgnal is going to keep starting for the Shockers, I'm really interested. He has at least 30 DraftKings points in three straight games (two of them starts). Ridgnal does his damage on the glass. He has been an elite rebounder over the last few games. We don't even care that Ridgnal has only scored 28 points in three games because he has 34 rebounds, four assists, six steals, and three blocks. Memphis is going to be a different challenge for Ridgnal, but I still trust him because of his work on the glass.
