Detroit Red Wings defenseman Moritz Seider stretched his point streak to eight games on Friday with an assist in a 3-1 loss to Tampa. He combined with Tyler Bertuzzi to set up Robby Fabbri 13:05 into the second period. The German rearguard became only the fourth rookie defenseman in NHL history to record a point streak of eight-plus games. Shayne Gostisbehere holds the all-time record with a 15-game streak. Seider is also the first Red Wings rookie since Steve Yzerman to get to an eight-game point streak and the first Detroit defenseman to do it since Nicklas Lidstrom. It's been a sensational rookie campaign for the 20-year-old, who's on pace to finish the season with 60-plus points.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
