Sam Burns Looking To Get Back On Track

Sam Burns enters Bay Hill in the midst of a major slump. The 25-year-old has missed three consecutive cuts and has struggled mightily in all facets of his game. The former LSU Tiger has lost strokes in three of four events in 2022 off the tee, on approach and putting. To put his iron struggles in perspective, Burns lost strokes on approach four times total in 2021. He will at least return to his preferred putting surface (Bermuda) this week at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, but he still is difficult to fully depend on.
