Tyler Higbee Suffers MCL Sprain

Los Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee (knee) was forced to exit early during Sunday's victory in the NFC Championship game. It was reported earlier that Higbee avoided serious injury, but that might not be the case. Head coach Sean McVay revealed Higbee suffered an MCL sprain during the victory. The organization is considering him day-to-day, but it's normally an injury that takes weeks to fully recover. Kendall Blanton would be asked to start in the Super Bowl, assuming Higbee is unable to play. He recorded five receptions for 57 yards during Sunday's victory over the San Francisco 49ers. However, Blanton didn't bring much to the table throughout the regular season. This is likely a wait-and-see type of situation with Higbee going forward.
