Matthew Wolff is one of the most volatile players on the PGA Tour, which makes him extremely hard to trust on a week-by-week basis. Coming off a bad missed cut last week at The American Express - where he burned a lot of DFS investors - he makes for a decent upside play this week. While wildly inconsistent, the OSU product has routinely been competitive on tough golf courses. Torrey Pines is the longest course in the PGA Tour rotation and one of the most challenging. Wolff has thrived in similar events such as the U.S. Open at Winged Foot, where he finished runner-up to Bryson Dechambeau. He also finished T15 at the U.S. Open last year which was held at this week's venue, Torrey Pines. There's volatility that comes with rostering the rising star, but he's an intriguing option in GPP formats.--Matt Miller - RotoBaller
