The Baltimore Ravens signed versatile offensive lineman Patrick Mekari to a three-year contract extension that will take him through the 2024 season on Thursday. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Mekari has started 10 games at right tackle this year after finishing as Baltimore's starting center in 2020. "Pat is an easy decision," general manager Eric DeCosta said. The 24-year-old Mekari was scheduled to hit free agency after this season. His versatility gives the Ravens plenty of options on their offensive line, as Mekari could stay at right tackle for the foreseeable future or line up at any other spot on the line, as needed. According to Pro Football Focus, Mekari is one of the offense's highest-graded players and the 51st-ranked offensive tackle in the NFL.--Keith HernandezRead More News
