Rob Gronkowski Catches Only One Ball

Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski caught only 1-of-2 targets for 23 yards against the Carolina Panthers. In such a poor tight end landscape, despite his lackluster outing, Gronkowski remains an unquestioned starter for fantasy. In this game, the Buccaneers took commanding lead and were able to primarily run the ball from thereon out, resulting in the veteran's stat line. Next week, against the New York Jets, although a similar situation may unfold, with no other options, fantasy managers should start the former Patriot. Even if there isn't much volume in the passing game, all that managers expect from their tight end slot is a touchdown and Gronkowski has better odds at coming down with a score than almost anyone.
