Dalvin Cook Officially Ruled Out For Week 13
Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook (shoulder) has officially been ruled out for the Week 13 contest against the Detroit Lions. Cook is dealing with a torn labrum in his left shoulder and is expected to keep him out this weekend and next, although the Vikings are expecting to have him back for a late-season playoff push. And when the 26-year-old does return, he could be limited and ineffective during the fantasy playoffs. Backup Alexander Mattison will step into the lead-back role in Minnesota's offense and is the perfect plug-and-play RB1 for fantasy managers. His start couldn't be better-timed while going up the winless Lions and a defense that allows the fourth-most rushing yards per game (133.9) in 2021. They've allowed the third-most fantasy points per game to RBs.
