Boston Bruins defenseman Charlie McAvoy exited the game Wednesday night in Buffalo after being checked from behind by Zemgus Girgensons. The Buffalo forward was assessed a game misconduct and major on the play. However, the bigger concern is with McAvoy. His head bounced off the boards in a way it just should not. McAvoy played just 18:38 before the hit but did have an assist in the 5-1 win for Boston.
