Ben Roethlisberger Misses Practice

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (pec, shoulder) missed practice on Thursday. This could be a veteran's day off as the season is now more than halfway over, but it is something to monitor as the Steelers' matchup against the Detroit Lions approaches. Nevertheless, if Roethlisberger does miss a game, although there will be a negative affect on his weapons, it won't be too stark. Roethlisberger has been somewhat competent but also one of the worst deep-ball passers in the league this year. If the signal-caller is out, Mason Rudolph will be able to sustain Diontae Johnson and Najee Harris's fantasy production, enough so that they should still be started everywhere. On the other hand, Chase Claypool and Pat Freiermuth become a lot more questionable and should be benched if possible.
