Chase Claypool Doesn’t Practice Thursday

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool (toe) missed practice on Thursday. Analyzing Claypool goes far beyond the injury however; the sophomore definitely holds immense upside, but as long as Ben Roethlisberger is his quarterback, his skills will be left underutilized. Although his talent flashes constantly, Claypool has more than 10 fantasy points in just 33 percent of his career games in standard fantasy scoring. If the youngster ends up missing time, that merely provides an excuse to cut an already unproductive wideout. Of course, don't drop him if there are alternatives, but Claypool is droppable if needed. However, in Dynasty, the 23-year-old remains an extremely valuable asset, just note that his value may not come through this year.
