Washington Capitals winger Daniel Sprong will re-enter the lineup on Friday against Arizona, taking over from T.J. Oshie (lower body) on the second line. The 24-year-old was a healthy scratch for Wednesday's 3-2 overtime loss to Detroit, but Oshie got hurt in the game blocking a shot and his absence gives Sprong a chance to make his return as a top-six forward. He'll log power-play time as well on the second unit. Sprong has notched just two points this season, but he's averaged fewer than 11 minutes of ice time and should be much more productive in a bigger role. He's produced a number of good scoring spurts in his career and has 52 points in 145 career games.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
