Melvin Ingram Wants Out Of Pittsburgh
Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker Melvin Ingram wants out of Pittsburgh after seeing a reduction in his playing time recently. Sources are saying that the Kansas City Chiefs made an offer, but the Steelers ideally don't want to send him to another AFC team. The NFL Network's Aditi Kinkhabwala speculates that perhaps the Arizona Cardinals would make a good trade partner after just losing All-Pro defensive end J.J. Watt (shoulder) for the rest of the season. Ingram played 100% of the defensive snaps in the Week 3 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, but he played a season-low 26% of the snaps in the Week 6 win over the Seattle Seahawks before the bye week. In his first year with the Steelers, he has only 10 tackles (five solo), two tackles for loss, six QB hits and one sack in six games (one start).
