Baker Mayfield Expected To Practice Wednesday

According to ESPN's Josina Anderson, Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield (shoulder) is expected to practice on Wednesday, barring setbacks. Mayfield has been dealing with a torn labrum and a fracture in his left shoulder for the past several weeks, an injury that kept him out of his team's Week 7 win over the Denver Broncos. There are some camps that feel that Mayfield would benefit from a short stay on injured reserve, but it's apparent that the quarterback wants to play through the injury, which is expected to eventually require surgery. If Keenum can't take the field against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 8, look for veteran Case Keenum to draw another start. Fantasy gamers counting on Mayfield will want to monitor Cleveland's practice reports once they start rolling in on Wednesday.
