Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender Brian Elliott will make his first appearance of the season on Monday against Buffalo. The veteran netminder starts his first year in Tampa after playing four seasons with Philadelphia. Elliott had a decent 15-9-2 record with two shutouts in 2020-21 but only managed to register a 3.06 goals-against average with a .889 save percentage. Tampa has been inconsistent early in the season and Buffalo had enjoyed a fine start, but there's an overall gulf in class between the two teams and it should help Elliott to make a winning start for his new squad. The Lightning have dropped only five of the last 26 games in the matchup.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
