Toronto Maple Leafs right wing Ondrej Kase is expected to play on Friday against San Jose despite missing some practice time this week. The 25-year-old got hurt blocking a shot in Monday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Rangers. Kase went through some tests and rejoined the group in Thursday's practice. He's a third-liner in Toronto with David Kampf and Alexander Kerfoot. Kase has shown some good production in his career, but he's been off the radar in recent years and skated in only three NHL games for the Bruins last season. The Czech winger is pointless with 11 shots through his first four outings with Toronto.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
