The New York Knicks frontcourt depth will be tested in Wednesday's season opener vs. the Celtics as center Nerlens Noel (knee) and power forward/center Taj Gibson (personal) have been ruled out prior to tip-off. Noel's absence was somewhat expected after he earned a doubtful designation, but Gibson's means that Mitchell Robinson is set to have a sizable frontcourt role alongside Julius Randle. Noel is coming off having averaged a career-best 2.2 blocks per contest last year, but with Robinson entrenched as the team's starter, his season-long fantasy upside stands to take a hit. The next opportunity that Noel or Gibson have to return to action comes Friday against Orlando.--Jesse Borek
