Vancouver Canucks forward Brock Boeser will be out for about one week due to an undisclosed injury. The 24-year-old has been absent from his team's practices since Thursday but should be given the green light before his team's season-opener on October 13. Boeser is coming off another strong season in Vancouver in which he posted 49 points (23 goals, 26 assists), 14 power-play points and 141 shots in 56 games. He's currently ranked #52 in Yahoo's pre-season fantasy hockey rankings and will likely be flying off draft boards at the back-end of the fifth round in most fantasy formats. He'll look to take another step forward in 2021-2022 with an expected full season of playing alongside superstar center Elias Pettersson.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
