Bears Cut Javon Wims
Javon Wims on Thursday. Wims endured an ineffective training camp while also battling an oblique injury. Wims had been on the Bears since 2017, posting 28 receptions for 266 yards and two touchdowns in 33 career games. Wims infamously was suspended for two games last season after taking a swing in-game at Saints cornerback Chauncey Gardner-Johnson. This move certainly helps the chances of camp-standout receiver Rodney Adams making the final roster.
