Nick Ritchie signed with the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday. His new deal will pay him an AAV of $2.5 million over the next two seasons. The former Boston Bruin scored 15 goals last year. He expects to replace Zach Hyman, who was signed earlier in the week by the Edmonton Oilers. Ritchie does a lot of the things that Hyman did but maybe does not skate quite as fast. Either way, he will create space for the first or second line. Also, the left-winger did have five power-play goals and nine points on the man advantage. He will be a hard player to move out from near the opposing goaltender. The new Maple Leaf forward may have even more fantasy value than he did last season. This is true especially if he is paired with Mitch Marner and Auston Matthews. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
