The Milwaukee Brewers selected Boston College outfielder Sal Frelick with the 15th overall pick in the 2021 MLB amateur draft on Sunday. Frelick is a freak three-sport athlete from high school with easy speed as an outfielder and baserunner. The former hockey player makes a lot of contact and has a knack for getting on base at the top of a lineup. Frelick could eventually have average power down the road when he matures and gets stronger from the left side of the plate. Because he throws right-handed, he'll have more defensive versatility in center field, the corner outfield and even potentially shortstop, which goes to show you how athletic he is.
