Trea Turner Out Of The Lineup Against Dodgers

Washington Nationals shortstop Trea Turner (finger) is out of the lineup Thursday against the Los Angeles Dodgers. The 28-year-old infielder jammed his finger while sliding into third base on a triple in the sixth inning of Wednesday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays to complete the third cycle of his career. The injury is extra disappointing given that Turner is batting .318/.367/.513 on the season. He is currently considered day-to-day, so fantasy managers shouldn't rush to make any moves just yet. Veteran infielder Starlin Castro pencils in at shortstop and will bat sixth for Washington against left-hander Victor Gonzalez for Los Angeles. Managers shouldn't waste the energy on Castro since his numbers have dipped this season, and he is only hitting .253/.305/.343.
