Mike Minor Struggles Again In Loss To Red Sox

Kansas City Royals starting pitcher Mike Minor had another rough outing in Wednesday's start against the Boston Red Sox. He pitched five innings and allowed seven hits, two walks and five earned runs while recording just one strikeout. He was tagged with the loss, dropping his record to 6-6 on the year. Minor has had some scattered success throughout the year, but he's now allowed 14 earned runs over his last 10 innings. He posted a 6.44 ERA over six starts in June and he has a 5.33 ERA and 1.29 WHIP on the year. He's worth keeping an eye on for deep league managers, but he can remain on waivers in all leagues at this point.
