Phil Gosselin Gets Start At Third Base
Los Angeles Angels third baseman Phil Gosselin will start at third base in place of the injured Anthony Rendon on Wednesday. Gosselin has been used primarily as a player that manager Joe Maddon can use off the bench late in games but could see more playing time coming up due to Rendon's triceps injury. Through 68 spread-out at-bats this season, Gosselin is slashing .294/.333/.412 with five doubles and nine runs batted in. Gosselin is too risky to insert into fantasy lineups but is 4-for-11 (.364) in the month of June.
