Dinelson Lamet Makes Another Short Outing
San Diego Padres starter Dinelson Lamet lasted four innings Monday against the Colorado Rockies, allowing one earned run and absorbing his second loss. The right-hander fanned three while permitting four singles and two walks, but fell victim to a putrid Friars offense that couldn't muster runs until late. Through 27 frames (nine appearances), the 28-year-old holds a respectable 3.33 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 26 percent strikeout rate. However, he's tapered off at around 70-80 pitches per outing and completed five innings just once. He'll be a risky SP4 at home on Saturday against the Cincinnati Reds.
