Miami Marlins starting pitcher Cody Poteet (undisclosed) was removed during the third inning of Friday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. He threw a couple warmup pitches, but was pulled out in the middle of the third inning. Poteet allowed four walks and three earned runs before exiting the game.
