Vancouver Canucks defenseman Alexander Edler will start a two-game suspension with Tuesday's matchup against the Maple Leafs. He was suspended for kneeing Toronto's Zach Hyman in Sunday's 3-2 overtime victory. Edler will also be sidelined for Thursday's clash with Ottawa. The veteran blueliner is a big force on the defensive end for the Canucks, having posted 81 blocks and 64 hits through 37 games this season. On the offensive front, Edler has managed eight points and 70 shots with no goals. Nate Schmidt, who hasn't played since March 24 due to COVID-19, will replace Edler as Tyler Myers' partner on Tuesday.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
