Cameron Smith has played well this season, making the cut in 11 of 12 starts and notching eight top-25 finishes. Smith nearly had his major breakthrough at the 2020 November edition of the Masters, finishing T2. He is a solid iron player, but he relies heavily on stellar play on and around the greens. Smith ranks 25th in strokes gained around the green and 16th in strokes gained putting. His play this season and ability to gain strokes with his short game suggests that he will have a great chance to compete this week. --Connor Wege
