Ross Chastain starts ninth on Sunday at the Daytona road course but has never raced there. That lack of experience is likely to impact Chastain as much as the tweaked chicane. In five road starts, Chastain has finished outside of the top 10 in every single race. Also, the lack of qualifying hurts the driver when it comes to track awareness.
