Max Homa will make his sixth career start at Pebble Beach, and he has played well in his last two. He has posted finishes of 10th and 14th the last two seasons. Long hitters can take advantage of Pebble Beach being a short course, and Homa averages 300 yards off the tee. He has also been putting fairly well this season, ranking 26th in birdie conversion percentage. The biggest concern is his iron and wedge play, ranking 156th in proximity to the hole and 187th in greens in regulation percentage. Homa has the potential for a good week if he can build on his last two Pebble Beach performances, but he carries some risk.--Connor Wege
