Goaltender Aaron Dell was claimed off waivers by the New Jersey Devils on Monday. Placed on waivers by the Toronto Maple Leafs the day prior, the 31-year-old is expected to jump right into a backup role behind netminder Mackenzie Blackwood In New Jersey. Dell spent the past four seasons as a backup with the San Jose Sharks - posting 48 wins, a 2.76 goals-against average and a .908 save percentage in 107 appearances.
