Fantasy Football Playoff Rankings: The FFPC Playoff Challenge Top 50

The FFPC (Fantasy Football Players Championship) is the place for serious fantasy players to compete in an NFL playoff challenge for high-stakes postseason action. Scott Engel delivers his Top 50 rankings to help you win big!

The NFL postseason begins with one of the most challenging and unique fantasy football playoff formats you can participate in, the Fantasy Football Players Championship (FFPC) Playoff Challenge. The format is highly compelling and the rewards are generous and impressive. The unique format allows you to pick just one player from every team. My rankings here are generated accordingly.

The starting lineup format is as follows: 1-QB, 2-RB, 2-WR, 1-TE, 4-Flex, 1-K, 1-D (Flex can be RB, WR or TE). A complete FFPC scoring breakdown is featured here. A main scoring point to note os that TEs get 1.5 points for every reception.

Please note that the ranks here are customized for the FFPC Playoff Challenge. So I have ranked these players by position requirements as well as how far I believe each team can potentially advance in the NFL playoffs. One player from each team will appear in each descending group of 14 selections. This ranking format will allow you to accurately evaluate how you should be filling out every position.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

The FFPC Playoff Challenge Top 50

  1. Travis Kelce, KC – No one else in the playoffs compares to him at the thinnest position in the game, especially with the added emphasis on tight end scoring in this format.
  2. Aaron Rodgers, GB – There is no defense that can stop him right now. Quarterbacks are more important in playoff leagues than in seasonal formats.
  3. Alvin Kamara, NO – He should still be highly productive without practicing for the Wild Card Round, and could help maintain some ball control in an NFC title game vs. Green Bay.
  4. Stefon Diggs, BUF – He has become an elite Fantasy WR in Buffalo, and he does have significant postseason experience that Josh Allen can lean on.
  5. DK Metcalf, SEA – He is ready for the postseason stage, as his breakout performance came in the NFC Wild Card game. Some may be scared off because of the Jalen Ramsey factor in the first round, but Metcalf is a big key to a deep playoff run and Russell Wilson has to get the ball to him.
  6. Rob Gronkowski, TB – The boosted TE scoring in the FFPC makes him very appealing as a flex option. Otherwise, Ronald Jones would be the preferred pick from the Tampa Bay roster.
  7. Diontae Johnson, PIT – He has really done a great job of curbing the drop issues, catching important balls in all types of situations. He is Pittsburgh’s best playmaker.
  8. J. K. Dobbins, BAL – The Ravens are looking better at the right time, and he can score from anywhere on the field.
  9. Robert Woods, LAR – He is definitely the Rams’ best offensive player, although Cooper Kupp should get strong consideration as well.
  10. Jarvis Landry, CLE – Passing effectively vs. the Steelers could be the key to advancing, and he will be very dependable and productive as long as the Browns stay alive.
  11. Derrick Henry, TEN – As we saw last season, he can carry his team to an upset, but the Tennessee defense could prevent a deep run, hence the lower rank.
  12. Jonathan Taylor, IND – Surging at the right time, could play a big role in any possible upset win.
  13. David Montgomery, CHI – If the Bears are going anywhere in the postseason, he can be a focal point of any unlikely victories.
  14. Antonio Gibson, WAS – Has to be the crux of the Washington offense, especially to have any chance to control time of possession vs. Tampa Bay.
  15. Seahawks Defense – They played at a premier level in the second half of the season. Jamal Adams and Carlos Dunlap lead a revived pass rush and Quandre Diggs can create some turnovers.
  16. Patrick Mahomes, KC – If you pivot off Kelce he is the top pick to anchor your squad.
  17. Josh Allen, BUF - The one guy who can maybe outpoint Mahomes in the AFC.
  18. Aaron Jones, GB – Can be a winning TD machine during a Super Bowl run.
  19. Michael Thomas, NO – There is a good shot he can be ready for the first round.
  20. Chris Godwin, TB – Will be frequently peppered by Brady in key situations. Mike Evans moves into this slot, though, if he is able to play in the Wild Card Game.
  21. Steelers Defense – They must recapture better form for the team to reach the AFC title game.
  22. Mark Andrews, BAL – Consistent TD threat, hopefully Baltimore can finally win a playoff game.
  23. Rams Defense – This unit could carry the team as far as it may go
  24. Nick Chubb, CLE – Don’t assume Pittsburgh can limit him, especially behind a superb line..
  25. A.J. Brown, TEN – A major playmaking threat in all types of passing situations..
  26. Nyheim Hines, IND –TD potential and upside, exciting versatile performer.
  27. Allen Robinson, CHI – Chicago’s MVP, the Bears can pin playoff hopes to him and Montgomery.
  28. Logan Thomas, WAS – A very nifty pick in the FFPC format.
  29. Tyreek Hill, KC
  30. Davante Adams, GB
  31. Drew Brees, NO
  32. John Brown, BUF
  33. Tyler Lockett, SEA
  34. Ronald Jones, TB
  35. JuJu Smith-Schuster, PIT
  36. Justin Tucker, BAL

  41. Mitchell Trubisky, CHI
  42. J.D. McKissic, WAS
  43. Chiefs Defense
  44. Robert Tonyan, GB
  45. Will Lutz, NO
  46. Tyler Bass, BUF
  47. Chris Carson, SEA
