Jordan Howard Joins Active Roster For Week 16

Philadelphia Eagles running back Jordan Howard has been elevated from the team's practice squad in time to take the field Sunday versus the Cowboys. While it's a return back to the active roster for Howard, it may be a while before he returns to being a regular fantasy contributor. Miles Sanders is firmly entrenched as the team's lead back with both Boston Scott and Corey Clement providing spell duty. While Howard does have four rushing touchdowns this season from his time with Miami, it's difficult to ascertain that he would have the same role as goal line masher that he held in his previous stop. Keep an eye on Howard either as a contrarian DFS option come the playoffs or if injuries befall the Eagles' backfield, as he has shown a tendency to scoot across the goal line when given the chance.
