David Montgomery Come Up Huge Against Giants
Chicago Bears running back David Montgomery carried the ball 16 times for 82 yards and added 45 receiving yards and one touchdown catch in the Bears 17-13 win over the Giants. The talented runner got the Bears on the board with some nifty moves en route to a 28-yard receiving scamper for a score. Montgomery then left the game in the first half after landing awkwardly on his neck but returned to deliver some big-time second half runs. On a crucial drive in the fourth quarter, the Bears leaned on the second-year running back as he picked up first down after first down. Montgomery will return to solid RB2 status next week against the Falcons.
