4 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Marco Gonzales gave up three runs on nine hits through five innings in Tuesday's victory over the Padres. Gonzales has been surprisingly consistent at starting pitcher this season. He doesn't offer much win potential playing for the Mariners, but Gonzales has three quality starts through his first six starts and hasn't allowed more than four runs in any start this season. Especially after his last two good starts against tough opponents in the Dodgers and Padres, fantasy owners should feel comfortable starting Gonzales moving forward as a mid-level starting pitcher.--Steve McCarthy - RotoBaller
