Miami Marlins catcher Francisco Cervelli was placed on the injured list after Saturday's game due to a concussion. It's unclear when Cervelli suffered the injury, but he essentially removed himself from Game 2 of Saturday's double header. Cervelli has dealt with several concussions in the past, so there is certainly some legitimate concern here. The Marlins will go forward with Jorge Alfaro as their starting catcher, but they'll need to make some kind of roster move before Sunday's game to ensure they have someone as a backup. The team's emergency catcher is presumably Logan Forsythe, but they'll of course want to have an actual second catcher on the roster.--David A Marcillo
