Calgary Flames forward Mikael Backlund scored an unassisted goal late in the first period, giving the Flames their only goal in the Game 5 loss. The goal was Backlund's fourth of the postseason and second of the series. Calgary's offensive struggles led to some line shuffling during the game, so while Backlund started the game skating with Tobias Rieder and Andrew Mangiapane, Elias Lindholm ended up taking Rieder's spot later in the game. Backlund played the majority of his minutes with Mangiapane and Lindholm, but his goal came before the line shift. That line shuffling is something to watch going into Game 6 as swapping Lindholm for Rieder should give Backlund's value a bit of a bump.--Russ Ivanac - RotoBaller
